Dancing with the Stars season 31 week 1 scores: Who was eliminated on DWTS season 31 Week 1?

Dancing with the Stars season 31 has arrived! And what a premiere night it was. If you missed it, check out the episode on the Disney+ platform. If you’re all caught up and watched the first dances live, but want to recap the scores because you missed one or two, we’ve got your back!

Each week, we’ll be breaking down the team’s scores, sharing what the judges scored the teams and their overall score so we can all keep track of this season together.

Next week, it’s Elvis Night! It’s gonna be good! Not only are all of Elvis’ songs major hits, but the recent movie Elvis, made us all fall in love with the songs again. I’m excited for a night full of Elvis songs, and I can’t wait to see which team dances which song. Not to mention, we’ll also find out which couple is the first one to be eliminated.

Now, while we wait until next week, why don’t we review the dances (and the scores)! The most popular score in the premiere episode was five, which isn’t terrible considering this was only the first episode and nerves were at an all-time high. So let’s get to it! Wayne and Witney Dancing with the Stars week 1 score: 29

Wayne Brady and Witney Carson teamed up and Wayne sure did bring his A+ game to the dance floor! The couple got the first eight of the night! Here’s the breakdown of their score: Carrie Ann-7, Len-7, Derek-7, Bruno-8.

Gabby and Val Dancing with the Stars week 1 score: 28

Gabby Windey was partnered up with Val Chmerkovskiy (my personal favorite pro dancer on DWTS), and they were great! Here’s the breakdown of their score: Carrie Ann-7, Len-7, Derek-7, Bruno-7.

Shangela and Gleb Dancing with the Stars week 1 score: 28

A round of applause for this team! Shangela and Gleb Savchenko amazed us all with their performance to “When I Grow Up” by The Pussycat Dolls. Here’s the breakdown of their score: Carrie Ann-7, Len-7, Derek-7, Bruno-7.

Selma and Sasha Dancing with the Stars week 1 score: 28

Daniel and Britt Dancing with the Stars week 1 score: 27

Jordin and Brandon Dancing with the Stars week 1 score: 26

Jordin Sparks and Brandon Armstrong danced to “I Wanna Dance with Somebody (Who Loves Me)” by Whitney Houston. Here’s the breakdown of their score: Carrie Ann-7, Len-6, Derek-6, Bruno-7.

Joseph and Daniella Dancing with the Stars week 1 score: 23

Joseph Baena came with all the energy! It was an enjoyable dance, Daniella Karagach is a great dance instructor. The pair danced to “Pump It Harder” by Black Eyed Peas. Here’s the breakdown of their score: Carrie Ann-6, Len-5, Derek-6, Bruno-6.

Heidi and Artem Dancing with the Stars week 1 score: 24

Influencer Heidi D’Amerlio and pro dancer Artem Chigvintsev (who won last season) hit the dance and they weren’t too shabby at all. Here’s the breakdown of their score: Carrie Ann-6, Len-6, Derek-6, Bruno-6.

Trevor and Emma Dancing with the Stars week 1 score: 21

Cheryl and Louis Dancing with the Stars week 1 score: 21

Jessie and Alan Dancing with the Stars week 1 score: 20

Who was eliminated on DWTS season 31 Week 1?

All teams did their best and danced their hearts out, but, ultimately, one team had to go home. Now, someone has to go at the end of each night, but one likes to be the first one eliminated! So, who was the first one out this season? Unfortunately, Jason Lewis and Peta Murgatroyd were sent home.
