Let’s be honest, there might have been 32 men Gabby and Rachel met on Night 1 of The Bachelorette season 19; however, it’s been clear from the start that Tino was the clear frontrunner for Rachel.

Rachel giving Tino her First Impression Rose at the very beginning of the season set the tone for what would follow. While Rachel clearly developed connections with some of her other suitors, it was clear that Tino always was on her mind which is why it wasn’t surprising to see him getting so many 1:1 dates and alone time after Group Dates.

Perhaps that’s why it was of no surprise that Tino ended up being the only man standing following the conclusion of the first part of the two-part finale. But just because he’s the last man standing on finale night, does that translate to happy ever after for Rachel and Tino?

Do Rachel and Tino get engaged on The Bachelorette?

If you were hoping to see Rachel and Tino get engaged at the end of the season, your wish is going to come true as the pair do in fact get engaged on finale night —  at least according to all reports including from Reality Steve.

Rachel has been clear all season that her goal was to walk away from the season engaged and she clearly had a strong connection with Tino, so it’s not too surprising to know they do get engaged as the season ends.

Are Rachel and Tino still together?

Rachel and Tino got engaged in the finale of The Bachelorette but we have some bad news for those who were rooting for the pair. Rachel and Tino are no longer together and called off their engagement shortly after the season ended.

After getting engaged, things quickly fell apart for the couple as their relationship became stained after the show finished airing. Amid their already strained relationship, Tino cheated on Rachel and kissed another girl, something he hid from her at first before eventually coming clean. Tino’s betrayal proved too much for the couple to overcome and the pair broke things off shortly after he came clean to her.

Reflecting on the events on the Viall Files podcast after the season finale aired and showcased their breakup, Tino confessed his regret for both cheating on Rachel and then withholding the truth from her telling host Nick Viall:

"“[My] biggest regret, outside of actually doing it, was not telling her right away. I should have told her the day after, hands down. Rachel deserves all that time back, and I can’t give it to her. And all I can do is, you know, tell her I’m really sorry.”"

Tino also revealed that he took some time after their breakup to begin therapy to work through the mistakes in seeing the harm his actions took.

"[In] the following weeks, I took therapy way more seriously because I was like ‘OK, what why did I find this toxic outlet? This is shameful. This is not who I want to believe I am and I won’t believe that.’ It’s a low-character moment, for sure. Worst thing I could have done to somebody in a relationship who I really, really loved.”"

Given the events that unfolded between Rachel and Tino, it’s likely of little surprise to know that the pair do not appear to have stayed in touch following their breakup.
