Goodbye The Challenge: USA, hello The Challenge: Ride or Dies!

Shortly after the CBS installment of the classic competition series came to an end, fans were given a first look at season 38 of The Challenge a.k.a. The Challenge: Ride or Dies. And though the upcoming installment is all-new—featuring a brand-new theme and a couple of new competitions—we’re sure you’re going to experience a major blast from the past, as the MTV reality series is going back to its basics. That means all the colorful competitions, all the hair-raising drama, and, of course, all the epic competitions that you know and love will be included in this exciting new season.

In addition to the new look and new theme, season 38 of the MTV series has a couple of new faces that will definitely make your experience that much more enjoyable.

Without further ado, here’s who you can expect to see in The Challenge: Ride or Dies.

The Challenge: Ride or Dies cast

Similar to Double Agents and Battle of the Exes, the cast of season 38 will be split into pairs; only, these pairs consist of Challenge legends and their best friends.

Here’s who’s paired with who (as per Variety):

  • Analyse Talavera and Tommy Bracco
  • Aneesa Ferreira (Battle of the Sexes) and Jordan Wiseley (Rivals II)
  • Colleen Schneider (The Mole Germany) and Kim Traenka
  • Darrell Taylor (The Gauntlet) and Veronica Portillo (Road Rules)
  • Devin Walker (Rivals III) and Tori Deal (Dirty 30)
  • Emmy Russ and Nam Vo (Double Agents)
  • Fessy Shaffaat (Total Madness) and Moriah Jadea
  • Horacio Gutierrez and Olivia Kaiser
  • Jay Starrett (Total Madness) and Michele Fitzgerald (Spies, Lies & Allies)
  • Johnny “Bananas” Devenanzio (The Duel) and Nany Gonzalez (Battle of the Seasons)
  • Johnny Middlebrooks and Ravyn Rochelle
  • Jakk Maddox and Laurel Stucky (Fresh Meat II)
  • Kailah Bird (Invasion of the Champions) and Sam Bird
  • Kaycee Clark (Total Madness) and Kenny Clark
  • Nelson Thomas (Invasion of the Champions) and Nurys Mateo
  • Tamara Alfaro and Turbo (War of the Worlds)

We wonder what awaits us in this season because, though no one who has your back like your best friend, no one can hurt you more than your best friend. Which teams’ bond will prevail amongst the others, and which teams will wish they never came on the show together? We’ll find out very, very soon!
