We get a cast change and claims of infidelity in House of the Dragon Season 1, Episode 6. Don’t miss a beat of the new episode on HBO tonight.

We’re picking up 10 years after the previous episode of House of the Dragon. As warned, that means a cast change. All the children from previous episodes have been switched up with their adult counterparts. It’s going to feel weird, but Emma D’Arcy and Olivia Cooke certainly know how to command the screen.

The promo for the episode gives us a hint of things that have happened in the last 10 years. Daemon has been MIA—and we find out that he’s with Laena Valeryian. They are married, but how long will that last?

Meanwhile, Rhaenyra and Ser Laenor are still married. They also have children, and that’s where one of the storylines picks up.

Has Rhaenyra had an affair in House of the Dragon Season 1, Episode 6?

There is something that stands out for everyone in House of the Dragon Season 1, Episode 6. It’s all about hair color. Something we saw stood out in Game of Thrones.

Rhaenyra’s sons don’t have the tell-tale platinum hair of the Targaryens or the Valeryians. Considering both his parents have that hair color, their sons should too. However, they have dark hair, which raises suspicions. Did Rhaenyra have an affair?

Queen Alicent certainly seems to suspect this. Viserys doesn’t want to believe that, and he’s looking iller by the episode. These allegations will have dangerous consequences. Alicent isn’t going to listen, though, especially as she is getting her son Aegon ready to rule as her father suggested. There’s a reason Alicent is still wearing green.
