What. A. Night!

During the finale of Big Brother season 24, history was made as Taylor Hale was crowned Big Brother’s first African-American female winner. (But, of course, we give our props to Tamar Braxton for doing the same for Celebrity Big Brother.)

From being ostracized relentlessly by all the houseguests to being put on the eviction block more times than anyone could count, Hale went through hell and back and, initially, seemed like all hope was lost for her game. However, through resiliency and courage, Hale took her fate into her own hands and carved a path toward victory.

There was no one, absolutely no one, that deserved the Big Brother season 24 crown more than Taylor Hale. But did our beauty pageant queen also receive the AFP (America’s Favorite Player) crown? Or did one of her fellow houseguests celebrate alongside her last night?

Big Brother season 24’s America’s Favorite Player

Not only did Taylor Hale make history as the first African-American woman to win Big Brother, but she also made history as the only person in the history of the CBS reality show to win both the $750,000 grand prize AND America’s Favorite Player!

Of course, her AFP title doesn’t come as a shock to anyone, as she was the most popular houseguest of her season. (So much so, even LAY’S lent her their support.) With the support from many celebrities, such as RuPaul’s Drag Race winner Jaida Mess-ence Hall and The Bachelor‘s Demi Burnett, it’s safe to assume that Hale won by a landslide, beating out her fellow AFP nominees Michael Bruner and Kyle Capener.

We’re sure this isn’t the last we’ll see of Taylor Hale, as her two esteemed titles (along with her beauty, grace, and kindness) are enough to warrant her access to every and any red carpet. But no matter where we see her next, she will forever have Big Brother season 24 winner and America’s Favorite Player under her belt.
