October is here and with it comes Halloween. Of course, Disney+ has already begun celebrating like most of us.

While Disney isn’t known for its spooky or scary content, the platform does have a lot of movies and shows you can enjoy for the Halloween season. While not all of the new releases are related to Halloween, a few of them are.

Regardless, Halloween isn’t the entirety of October so it’s only right or Disney+ to include some releases for those who don’t love Halloween. What kind of monster are you if you don’t enjoy Halloween? Just kidding, but if you aren’t big on Halloween, then Disney still has you covered.

Let’s break down the Disney+ releases for this first week in October 2022.

These Disney+ releases are perfect to start off your October weekend.

Even if you don’t love spooky shows or movies, then have no fear as Disney+ has added a lot of new content to the platform no matter how you decide to spend your weekend in October.

  • Dancing with the Stars season 31, episode 3 (Oct. 3)
  • Andor episode 5 (Oct. 5)
  • Puppy Dog Pals season 5 (Oct. 5)
  • Shipwreck Hunters Australia season 1 (Oct. 5)
  • The Mighty Ducks: Game Changers season 2, episode 2 (Oct. 5)
  • The Simpsons season 33 (Oct. 5)
  • World of Flavor with Big Moe Cason (Oct. 5)
  • Zombies: Addison’s Monster Mystery (Oct. 5)
  • Zorro, season 1-2 (Oct. 5)
  • She-Hulk: Attorney At Law episode 8 (Oct. 6)
  • Calling All Monsters, Music Video (Oct. 7)
  • Drumline (Oct. 7)
  • Werewolf by Night (Oct. 7)

As you can see, this week of releases is a nice mix of both Halloween-themed and just regular enjoyable shows and movies. Obviously, a lot of us are super excited about Werewolf by Night, myself included. Regardless, you can also get caught up on some Disney+ original shows or even have a Simpsons marathon.

No matter what you’re looking for to start off October, Disney+ has you covered. Considering this is just the start of the month, there’s no telling what kind of treats and tricks Disney has up its sleeve.
