Everything to know about 10 Lives starring Zayn Malik and Simone Ashley

Safe to say that there will always be a market for animated features, which is all the more reason why we believe Chris Jenkins’s 10 Lives will be a smash hit.

Jenkins’s upcoming title not only sounds like the perfect movie to teach us a couple of very important life lessons, but it also sounds super stacked, as it features a few A-List celebrities you know and love.

What is 10 Lives about?

10 Lives follows the journey of a reckless cat named Beckett. Since Beckett has nine lives, he doesn’t particularly care about being careful nor care about living life to the fullest. However, when he finally loses his ninth life, he realizes how precious life truly is and begs for another shot to do it right. But, as everyone knows, escaping death doesn’t come without its consequences.

Who stars in 10 Lives?

 The Big Narstie Show‘s Mo Gilligan stars as Beckett in this upcoming animated film.

Alongside Gilligan is The Secret Life of Bees actress Sophie Okonedo, who will voice Grace, and British musician Zayn Malik, who will play the roles of twins Kirk and Cameron.

Deadline describes Kirk and Cameron as twins that “think they are as tough as they come but who, deep down, want nothing more than to please their mum”, while Grace can be best summed up as “an ethereal yet no-nonsense woman with the power to grant Beckett his new set of lives.”

Big Boys actor Dylan Llewellyn stars as Larry, Grace’s trusted sidekick.

Last but not least, Sex Education alum Simone Ashley voices Rose, a student determined to research ways to preserve the life of bees.

When will 10 Lives be released?

An official release date has yet to be confirmed. Still, taking into consideration that the film recently cast Malik and Ashley, it’s likely that we will receive the film sometime in 2023. We’ll be sure to loop you in once a release date is announced.
