The Santa Clauses Disney+ series release date and more

‘Tis the season, and Disney+ is celebrating with a very special gift! New show, The Santa Clauses, is coming to the streaming service as a series sequel to the first three The Santa Clause movies.

Series star Tim Allen takes on executive producing duties. Jack Burditt, Kevin Hench, Richard Baker, Rick Messina, Jason Winer, and Jon Radler also serve as EPs.

The wonderful story all started out when Scott Calvin (Allen) accidentally becomes the big man in red and is taken to the North Pole. Years later, he still takes on the role proudly. Is that about to change in the new series? Here’s all we know ahead of its premiere!

The Santa Clauses release date

The limited series is set to be released Wednesday, Nov. 16 on Disney+. It will debut with the first two episodes, followed by one new installment weekly. The finale of the six-episode season is scheduled for Wednesday, Dec. 14.

The Santa Clauses synopsis

We’ve seen Scott more than happy with his job as Santa, and that’s definitely the same in the sequel series. Though after three decades of being Old St. Nick, the popularity of the holiday itself is now declining, which means Scott’s Santa magic is as well, according to Disney+. Plus, it’s a big job to take on, and Scott realizes he needs to start being there for his family more. And so, he decides to retire and tries to find a worthy successor.
