John Wick 4 release date, trailers, first-looks, and more

Keanu Reeves is back as everyone’s favorite assassin in the next film of his neo-noir action franchise! John Wick: Chapter 4 will hit the big screens in 2023. While there’s still a bit of a wait until John Wick 4, we’ve got all the details about the movie to tide you over until then.

Reeves also serves as an executive producer on the Lionsgate production. Chad Stahelski has taken up directing duties since the very first film, and will be leading behind the camera once again. The action thriller was co-written by Shay Hatten and Michael Finch, and based on characters created by Derek Kolstad.

The upcoming fourth installment serves as a sequel to the 2019 movie, John Wick 3. We last saw John Wick stuck with a $14 million bounty on his head and becoming the target of the world’s most ruthless killers, fighting his way through the streets of New York.

John Wick 4 release date

John Wick 4 will be released in cinemas on Friday, March 24, 2023 in the U.S. The film was originally supposed to be finished and shared in May 2021, but was delayed due to the pandemic as well as partially because of the leading man’s commitments to The Matrix Resurrections.

Plot details about the upcoming movie are still scarce, but we have a small idea of what to expect thanks to the official synopsis from Lionsgate. Buckle up! There’s plenty more action coming our way.

The official trailer for the fourth film in the series was released on Nov. 10, and it unsurprisingly promises a ton of action. The cinematography looks to be on point once again and we get to see a glimpse at Bill Skarsgård’s character, who is new to the franchise.
