Mary, John, and the team are dealing with brain vampires in The Winchesters Season 1, Episode 5. Don’t miss the return of the series.

After taking a week off, the team is back together with a new case. This one involves brain vampires. At least, that’s the way Carlos describes them, which certainly seems about right based on the promo.

One thing this Supernatural prequel has shown us is how much John lost throughout his life. He had what has become a group of friends with Mary. What happened to them all? Will we ever find that out? This is assuming that the show is set in the same reality as Supernatural and not some alternate universe to make the change to canon make sense.

Ada’s past comes to light in The Winchesters Season 1, Episode 5

It’s clear that everyone has their own secrets. They’re all hiding something from each other, and that is a shame when they’re supposed to be a group of friends who have each others’ backs. But then, a show like this wouldn’t be entertaining if everyone was open about everything.

We’re going to get more about Ada’s past in this episode. It all comes out with the latest hunt, but what could that be? Is this her own past or from when she was possessed by the demon? After all, she remembers more about that possession than she’s letting on.

Meanwhile, Millie turns to Mary. Millie is terrified that something will happen to John, and that’s a reasonable fear to have. All Millie wants is for Mary to look out for John, and we know Mary is more than willing to do that.

"Hidden secrets from Ada’s (Demetria McKinney) past comes to light when the gang goes undercover to look into a suspicious death. Still reeling from the last Hunt, Millie (Bianca Kajlich) asks Mary (Meg Donnelly) to keep an eye on John (Drake Rodger) as they split off from the others to get intel on the new case. Carlos (JoJo Fleites) and Ada’s stakeout connects the victim to the next target. Latika’s (Nida Khurshid) research comes up with some interesting results that lead John to be Mary’s lifeline out of a sticky situation."
