After three long years, BBC’s Strictly Come Dancing finally returns to Blackpool. If you have been watching the show for years, you will know that Blackpool Week is a highlight for Strictly as it sees the couples take to the iconic home of dance in Blackpool Tower Ballroom to perform Ballroom and Latin routines for the judges and viewers.

Given everything happening in the world over the past two years, it’s understandable that the show hasn’t left its regular dancefloor in Elstree, but now the class of 2022 get to take the show back to Blackpool. And with just eight couples left on the show (and the Quarter-Final in sight), you can bet it’s going to be a spectacle for the ages.

There are some exciting dances lined up for the night, including a Paso Doble from Kym and Graziano, a Jive from Molly and Carlos, and a Quickstep from Helen and Gorka.

Yes, it’s all very exciting for fans, and if you’re one of them, you’ll likely want to know what time Strictly starts at tonight.

Strictly Come Dancing Week 9 starts at 7:45 p.m. GMT on BBC One. That’s a little bit later than the previous episodes of the season thus far, but that could be down to the fact that there are less contestants now, or it could simply be due to it being Blackpool Week.

The show will see a number of schedule changes over the next few weeks (including a change of night for both the Quarter-Final and the Semi-Final), so be sure to enjoy its presence in its regular Saturday night slot while we can!
