Can you believe we’re at the New Amsterdam Season 5 fall finale already? It’s a two-hour episode tonight, and here’s all you need to watch live.

It’s the time of year when we get the fall finales. Grey’s Anatomy and Station 19 were among the first shows to go on a break, and next week we’ll see the 911 Season 6 fall finale. Tonight, it’s all about the New Amsterdam Season 5 fall finale.

There are two episodes airing tonight. Make sure you tune in at 9 p.m. ET/PT, which is an hour earlier than we’re used to. You won’t want to miss a beat of the final season. There are three episodes after this, and we know when NBC plans to bring the show back.

What to expect in the New Amsterdam Season 5 fall finale

Max is going to take a chance with Wilder in the first hour. Does this suggest that he’s going to attempt a relationship with her? I still think this is way too soon for Max, and after that long journey to get Max and Helen together, it’s somewhat disrespectful for the shippers. He’s going to learn something surprising about Wilder in the process, though.

Meanwhile, Iggy is going to reach a decision about Martin. We know that Iggy wants to get back with his husband. That’s been pretty clear from the start and not just with the text message. Iggy didn’t remove his wedding ring. Martin doesn’t seem to be ready to get back with Iggy, though, and I can’t blame him with what Iggy said in the Season 4 finale.

In the second hour, Max is going to help an ICU intern. This intern loses a patient, and that is going to be hard. Doctors lose patients all the time, and they all find ways of coping with that.

Meanwhile, Bloom will need to make amends with her sister. Will she find a way to mend the bridge and help Vanessa get the support she needs to get sober?
