Who is playing football today? (NFL Thanksgiving Day games 2022)

Thanksgiving has finally arrived and the holiday is going to keep football fans quite busy, as always, with a handful of Thanksgiving Day games scheduled across the day.

As is typically the case, there will be a total of three NFL games played today. these games will be shared by three of the four major broadcast networks with CBS, FOX, and NBC each getting their hands on one of the Thanksgiving Day games.

The action will kick off on CBS before moving over to FOX and finally ending on NBC as the three networks bring NFL fans what promises to be a series of must-watch matchups. A total of six teams will face off on Thanksgiving, but who exactly will be playing football on Thanksgiving? Here is a breakdown of this year’s Thanksgiving Day games.

Thanksgiving Day games: What football games are on today? (2022)

Of course, no Thanksgiving is ever complete without the Dallas Cowboys and Detroit Lions and both teams will be facing off against some stiff competitors. In addition to the Cowboys and Lions, the Buffalo Bills, New York Giants, New England Patriots, and Minnesota Vikings will also be taking to the field on Thanksgiving.

The day will begin as the Bills head to Detriot to face the Lions at 12:30 p.m. ET on CBS. We’ll then head to Dallas where the Cowboys will be facing off against their division rival, the Giants at 4:30 p.m. ET on FOX. Finally, the day will come to a close with the Patriots heading to Minnesota to face the Vikings in primetime on Thursday Night Football.
