The most wonderful time of the year is here! Of course, that means indulging in holiday classics like Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer. The Christmas TV movie has been a household staple since 1964 and is a yearly must-watch for viewers have fallen in love with the sweet tale.

While we’re well past the time when you could only tune into the stop-motion animated story when it aired on TV, there’s still something special about gathering the family together, watching with friends, or settling in by yourself (under a blanket) to see Rudolph come into his own as one of Santa’s reindeer.

Unlike A Charlie Brown Christmas, Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer will be airing on TV this year. First, he’ll make his land on CBS for one night but that won’t be the only time you’ll be able to watch the movie on television in 2022.

The holiday special will air at 8 p.m. ET on CBS and will run for an hour.
