Last season, Gossip Girl (2021) viewers were introduced to Camille de Haan, Monet’s mother, who is as fierce as she is fabulous. The no nonsense woman had some choice words for Kate Keller that left the underpaid teacher, and new incarnation of Gossip Girl, fuming.

When season 2 opens, Kate hasn’t shaken the way Camille put her firmly in her place and wants enough dirt to bury her under. Too bad Julien, her supposed partner in gossip and accountability, isn’t as forthcoming as she promised she would be.
But, thanks to Kate’s vendetta and Monet’s play for the crown, we’re getting to see more of Ms. de Haan especially in the season premiere. It’s time for the debutante ball, and she wants everything to go smoothly. Obviously, given the nature of this show, that’s not going to happen but when Monet pulls a fast one, let’s just say the de Haans aren’t going to be seeing eye to eye.

Who plays Camille de Haan on Gossip Girl (2021)?
Monet’s mother is played by Amanda Warren. Currently, she’s leading the new CBS cop drama, East New York, in the role of Deputy Inspector Regina Haywood. Warren is also known for her roles as Betty in Dickinson, Mayor Zahra Taylor on NCIS: Los Angeles, and Olivia Mason in Madam Secretary.
According to IMDb, the actress’ next theatrical role will be in Burial, a courtroom drama starring Jamie Foxx and Tommy Lee Jones. The movie is about a lawyer helping a family owned funeral business from being taken out by a corporate company.
