With the holidays coming up, we’re keeping an eye on which shows are still airing and which are beginning to air their fall finales. SWAT is no different since we’ve had breaks already between episodes in season 6. Now that we’re in December, the schedule may get tricky. Is SWAT new on CBS on Dec. 2, 2022?

The last episode aired before the Thanksgiving holiday, so there wasn’t a new episode the following Friday. We already miss seeing the crew and the synopsis for the next episode already looks exciting.

The next episode of SWAT, titled “Sequel,” will see the return of a familiar foe for the 20 Squad. However, this foe is not a criminal, but someone closer to home. We’ll see the return of former 20 Squad Leader Rodrigo Sanchez, played by David DeSantos. The last time we saw him, he exited the squad after trying to find anything he could to have Hondo removed.

After not seeing Sanchez since season 5, it looks like he will be working with the 20 Squad once more. How will they fare after their previous history together?

What time is SWAT on CBS tonight?

In the episode synopsis, it appears he will return when the team needs assistance following a break in at an actress’s home. They are looking for “a dangerous criminal who will stop at nothing to get what he wants.” The synopsis also hints that Tan is looking for an anniversary gift to give his wife.

It looks like this will be an exciting episode, especially when we see Sanchez and Hondo confronting each other once more. So will we get to watch a new episode tonight?

Yes, a new episode of SWAT is set to air Dec. 2 on CBS at 8 p.m. ET/7 p.m. CT. After airing on CBS, it will be available on Paramount+ the following day.
