It’s the most magical time of the year and the holidays are coming. Along with that, we get to watch our favorite Christmas movies over and over again. One of the staples of the season is the 2000 version of Dr. Seuss’ How The Grinch Stole Christmas. It’s one of the most recognizable features to grace our screens. As a refresher, let’s look back at some of the actors and actresses from the cast of Dr. Seuss’ How the Grinch Stole Christmas.

Actor Jim Carrey plays the titular character The Grinch. The Who, or What, is dreading the coming Christmas season.

While all of the Who’s in Whoville who are cheerful and decorating to their hearts’ content, the Grinch is stewing in his hatred of all things Christmas. Along with his adorable canine companion Max, he prepares to ruin the joy of the season.

However, events in the film don’t go as planned, for many reasons. Is there a chance he will have a change of heart?

Along with actor Jim Carrey, you may also recognize Christine Baranski, who played The Grinch’s childhood crush Martha May Who. She has a rivalry with Molly Shannon’s Betty Lou Who when it comes to decorating their homes for the annual contest over who decorates the best home for the holidays.

Taylor Momsen, who retired from acting and is now a musician, played the adorable Cindy Lou Who, the tiniest Who who is curious about the mysterious Grinch that everyone is afraid of.

These are just some of the recognizable faces from the film. Along with Jeffrey Tambor as the Mayor and the late Josh Ryan Evans as a young Grinch, the cast did a great job bringing these characters to life.
