8 new Netflix movies and shows to watch this week (Dec. 5)

We have entered the month of December, meaning it’s time for us to drink our Peppermint Mochas and sit back and enjoy some movies. Like we do each and every week, we’re sharing all the new Netflix movies and shows debuting beginning the week of Dec. 5, 2022.
While the Christmas spirit will be packed throughout the month, Netflix has no new Christmas content this week. Still, they have a stand-up comedy special, a returning reality show, and an animated film that delivers some of the year’s best work. So everyone should be happy with what is ahead with Netflix’s slate of movies and shows.

- Too Hot to Handle season 4, Dec. 7

- The Most Beautiful Flower, Dec. 7
- Smiley, Dec. 7
- In Broad Daylight: The Narvarte Case, Dec. 8
- Guillermo Del Toro’s Pinocchio, Dec. 9
You probably looked at the list and said ANOTHER Pinocchio movie? Yes, another one, but this one is very good, unlike the Disney one from earlier this year. Guillermo Del Toro tried to make this movie for over a decade and finally got Netflix to make his dream come true.
The movie is hands down the best-animated movie of 2022 and one of the year’s best films. It’s a heartfelt adaption of a story we all know that truly has some of the best animation you will ever see. You don’t want to miss this one.
Fans who are looking for some trashy reality TV since Love is Blind season 3 has ended, Too Hot To Handle season 4 has arrived. The series follows a group of singles ready to mingle. However, as we’ve seen in the first three seasons, each person must give up sex to try and win the big $100,000 prize. While the series can be hit and miss I’ll be firmly planted on my couch to check out season 4.
