There’s just one more week of Survivor left until we get to the December 14 finale. With Sami Layadi’s vote out, we’re down to the final six, and it’s an intriguing collection of personalities and game players. Plus, there are three idols still left in the game, which could completely change the game if used properly. That makes it very tough to predict what’s going to happen, but I’ll do my best below.

Survivor season 43 week 11 power rankings

Out) Sami Layadi (Last: 7) – Sami’s exit was pretty easy to see coming after Noelle was voted out. He has been playing the middle so well for so long, it was only a matter of time before he was sniffed out. Had he picked a side a week or two ago, he might’ve had a chance, but he wanted to have his cake and eat. Hopefully, Ponderosa has a great cake on its menu waiting for him now that he’s out.

6) Owen Knight (Last: 6) – I’m leaving Owen low in my rankings even though I actually think he’s slowly getting some winning potential. He’s very much the counter to players like Jesse and Karla, which could make him attractive to the jury. He hasn’t voted any of them out, and those bonds could help him win. That said, you have to think the other players also see that and know that he’s a relatively easy vote. I think that puts him in enough danger to be a real concern moving forward.

5) Karla Cruz Godoy (Last: 5) – The edit seems to be telling us that Karla isn’t playing a winning game, but that could just be sneaky tricks from the producers. She certainly has come down from the top of the power heap since the merge hit and has lost most of her allies. I think she needs a successful move against Jesse this week or her chances to win drop to basically zero.

4) Jesse Lopez (Last: 3) – Speaking of Jesse, I think he had a good week getting Sami out, but he’s now going to be very vulnerable. It’ll be easy for him to look forward to the final five and keep his idol in his pocket if Karla or Cody move against him this week. I think if he gets past this week, Jesse is the odds-on favorite, but the final six is probably the place he’s going to be the most vulnerable.

3) Mike Gabler (Last: 4) – There continues to be almost no real path for a Gabler victory in my eyes. If he did win, it’d be even more surprising than Erika pulling off a shock victory in Survivor 41. However, that also makes him a great goat candidate and I can’t see anyone seriously wanting to vote him out at this point.

2) Cody Assenmacher (Last: 2) – If these power rankings weren’t taking the potential to be voted out into account, Jesse would be ahead of Cody. He proved to have a much better read on the game than the Hawaiian last week, correctly calling that they should target Sami over Cassidy. Plus, we’re getting almost all of the information about this duo from the eyes of Jesse, suggesting that Cody isn’t seen as a potential winner by the editors. That said, Cody has more agency this week because he could rally the numbers to get Jesse out. This is the week to do it and I think that means Cody is relatively safe. Most likely, the eyes will be on either Jesse or Karla, letting him slip through yet again.

1) Cassidy Clark (Last: 1) – Cassidy’s story is very similar to Cody’s except that I actually think she has a story that might win over the jury. Obviously, her seemingly being targeted last week is a problem, but the target should shift off of her. Strangely, her not having an idol might be the thing that keeps her safe. Of course, I didn’t see her being an option last week, so Survivor could completely turn the game on its head and give three players immunity again in an attempt to make me look like an idiot. I’m not sure my reputation can survive two weeks of that.
