NBC’s streaming site Peacock has expanded its content library in several great ways this year, and that means there are even more Christmas movies on Peacock available to stream. Between classic family films, romantic Hallmark movies, and Christmas comedies, there’s something for everyone.

Television series on NBC that had previously been available to stream on Hulu have moved to Peacock, along with shows from Bravo and other connected networks. This has made Peacock a more frequented platform over the past several months.

In addition, a collection of over 30 Hallmark Christmas movies is now available, which has multiplied the amount of holiday movies on the platform. This collection also includes more secular winter films, as well as several movies in Spanish.

While Peacock does have a few more recent holiday movies because of its Hallmark collection, most of the top Christmas movies span over the past several decades. Here are some of the best Christmas movies on Peacock available to stream in 2022.

What are the best Christmas movies on Peacock?

Miracle on 34th Street (1947)

This classic Christmas movie follows the story of a man named Kris Kringle who fills in last minute for Santa in the Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York, and quickly wins over the public. He takes the job as Santa at Macy’s department store, where his magical authenticity has people questioning whether he could be the true Santa.

Love Actually

About to celebrate its 20th anniversary, Love Actually is a Christmas-themed romantic comedy film that follows nine different stories that become intertwined as the characters seek love — and the different characters’ stories show just how complex love can be.

Krampus

One of the only Christmas movies on Peacock that’s a horror-comedy, Krampus dives into the mythology behind the horned beast who is said to punish badly behaved children at Christmas. Even though Krampus doesn’t fit the mold of what most people think a holiday film should be, the movie has grown to be popular with fans.

The Best Man Holiday

This American comedy-drama centers around a group of friends from college who are reuniting for the first time in 15 years around the Christmas season. They’ve grown to be different people over the years, but they come to realize that their past friendships, relationships, and rivalries are really easy to fall back into.

How The Grinch Stole Christmas (1966)

A classic animated film that led to several beloved remakes, How The Grinch Stole Christmas is one of the most popular Christmas movies on Peacock this season. The story is narrated by Boris Karloff based on the popular Dr. Seuss book, and brings out lots of nostalgia for those who may have watched this as children decades ago.
