Did Harper and Cameron have sex in The White Lotus season 2?

The White Lotus season 2 is officially over, and man, what a wild finale! Fortunately, we were treated to a longer episode than usual tonight with “Arrivederci,” and it did not disappoint. We had so many questions leading into episode 7, and though we didn’t get all of our answers, we did get some. Namely who dies, and a few other things!

Spoilers ahead for The White Lotus season 2 finale.

Sadly, we said goodbye to Tanya tonight in The White Lotus season 2 finale, along with her new friends Quentin, Niccoló, and Didier. But there are other things that went down that viewers have questions about. For instance, what’s going on with the two couples, Harper and Ethan, and Cameron and Daphne? Their relationships have been nothing short of complicated since we met them in the season 2 premiere, and the season ends on kind of a happy note for all four.

After last week’s episode, Ethan was convinced that Harper and Cameron actually had sex when they went up to their rooms after drinking together. In the finale, Ethan confronts Harper again about it and demands answers. Though Harper denies it at first, she comes around and then admits the two kissed, but nothing more. Ethan doesn’t believe it, but before Harper can confess to anything else, he goes to fight Cameron out on the beach.

Did Harper and Cameron have sex in The White Lotus season 2?

When Ethan is confronting Harper, he says he thinks she’s still lying, and it really does seem like she is. However, we never get confirmation of whether or not she had sex with Cameron. That said, in the episode post-show, creator Mike White says he doesn’t think Harper and Cameron actually had sex. If he’s saying that, then we believe they didn’t.

Did Ethan and Daphne have sex in The White Lotus season 2?

After fighting Cameron, Ethan confides in Daphne on the beach and tells her he thinks something happened between their spouses. She tells him he shouldn’t worry, and then asks him to go with her to check out a nearby island. There’s certainly flirty vibes between the two, but we don’t see what happens next. In the post-show segment after the episode, White teases that maybe something does happen between Ethan and Daphne, but he doesn’t give an answer.

Whatever does happen between them, he says, is seemingly enough to make Ethan want to be with Harper sexually again, and at the end of the episode, they look happy together waiting at the airport.
