There is some bad news, though. There won’t be a new episode of The Winchesters on tonight, Tuesday, Dec. 13.

We will at least get a rerun tonight. It’s time to head back to the very first episode of the series. We’re going to see John and Mary meet once again, as John learns all about monsters much earlier than he did in the world of Supernatural.

When will new episodes of The Winchesters return?

How long will we need to wait for new episodes? This is where we have some bad news. There is going to be a long wait for new episodes of the series. The Winchesters is now on its winter break, and that was the reason for the big cliffhanger.

We do have a return date, at least. We’ll get to see a new episode on Tuesday, Jan. 24. Yes, this seems like a long wait but it’s about the right time for CW shows to return from winter breaks.

It’s important to note a time change that’s coming. The series is moving to the 9 p.m. ET/PT timeslot in the new year. We don’t know what’s going to air normally at 8 p.m., but Jan. 24 will see an encore episode of The Winchesters. It’s possible that the final season of The Flash is going to keep its usual timeslot when it returns in the new year.
