It’s bowl season, a time honored end of the year tradition! For the next few weeks, college football fans will be settling into regular post-season games as teams face-off in clashes that are certain to help ring in the holidays and the new year for lifelong Sports TV fans.

A part of this week’s coverage is the New Orleans Bowl, officially dubbed the R+L Carriers New Orleans Bowl, which kicks off Wednesday, Dec. 21. The NCAA-sanctioned bowl, which was established in 2001, starts later in the night, so if you have holiday shopping to get done, you’ll have time to do it before the game begins.

  • Matchup: Western Kentucky Hilltoppers vs. South Alabama Jaguars
  • Location: Caesars Superdome

This is the first time that Western Kentucky and South Alabama have played at the New Orleans Bowl in its 20+ year history. Unsurprisingly, Louisiana have made the most appearances followed by Southern Miss, North Texas, and Troy.

  • Game: Western Kentucky Hilltoppers vs. South Alabama Jaguars
