With Christmas Eve falling on the Sunday before Week 16 of the NFL, we are getting a loaded slate of football games that will be played. So, below we share a list of the games set to kick off on Christmas Eve.

It appears the NFL didn’t want everyone to be away from their families this Christmas, as most of their games are set to kick off on Christmas Eve. With the slate of games set to start at 1 PM, 4 PM, and 7:15 PM, we will be able to enjoy some hot cocoa while we see some of our favorite teams go head to head.

What NFL teams play today?

Early Window – Kick off at 1 PM EST

  • Atlanta Falcons (5-9) @ Baltimore Ravens (9-5) – on (FOX)
  • Detroit Lions (7-7) @ Carolina Panthers (5-9) – on (FOX)
  • Buffalo Bills (11-3) @ Chicago Bears (3-11) – on (CBS)
  • New Orleans Saints (5-9) @ Cleveland Browns (6-8) – on (CBS)
  • Seatle Seahawks (7-7) @ Kansas City Chiefs (11-3) – on (FOX)
  • New York Giants (8-5-1) @ Minnesota Vikings (11-3) – on (FOX)
  • Cincinnati Bengals (10-4) @ New England Patriots (7-7) –  on (CBS)
  • Houston Texans (1-12-1) @ Tennesse Titans (7-7) – on (CBS)

Games of note: There are plenty of big matchups this weekend to pay attention to, but the two biggest games in the early window that people will watch are the Seahawks taking on the Chiefs and the Bengals taking on the Patriots.

Both of these games have massive playoff implications. First, the Seahawks have lost four of their last five games and find themselves on the outside looking in the Wild Card race. They take on a Chiefs team that is trying to stay within the race for the one seed in the AFC. Both teams need a win here.

The Bengals head into Week 15 with the longest winning streak in the AFC, with six straight wins. They are only one game back of the one seed and need a win to stay ahead of the Ravens. The Patriots have lost three out of their last four and head into this game needing a win to try to keep pace in the Wild Card race.

Late Window – Kick off at 4:05 PM EST

  • Washington Commanders (7-6-1) @ San Francisco 49ers (10-4) – on (CBS)
  • Philadelphia Eagles (13-1) @ Dallas Cowboys (10-4) – on (FOX)

We only have two games in the late window, and both have massive playoff implications. The massive showdown between the Cowboys and Eagles, with the latter needing a win to clinch the division. Reeling off an overtime loss to the Jaguars, the Cowboys need a win Saturday, or they will find themselves in a Wild Card spot.

The 49ers are the hottest team in football, winning seven straight games and hoping to stay alive for the two seed in the NFC with a win. The Commanders are looking to bounce back after losing to the Giants with a win here and staving off a hungry Lions team who are looking to come for that seventh spot.

Night game – Kick off at 8:15 PM

  • Las Vegas Raiders (6-8) @ Pittsburgh Steelers (6-8) – on (NFL Network)

The final game on Christmas Eve comes from the underachieving Raiders and the injury-riddled Steelers. Both teams have a very small chance of making the playoffs, but the Raiders are healthy and trying to make a run. It’s a pivotal game for both teams.
