Saturday isn’t normally a busy day for football fans; however, the NFL is about to keep fans glued to their televisions this weekend with a wave of NFL Christmas Eve games scheduled to unfold on Saturday!

Due to the Christmas holiday falling on a Sunday this year, the NFL seems to have planned ahead in looking to host the majority of its Week 16 games on Christmas Eve instead. As a result, nearly all of this week’s games will be broadcast on Saturday with the NFL schedule for this weekend featuring eleven games on Christmas Eve.

While there will still be some games on Sunday to enjoy, most fans can expect to see their favorite teams playing on Saturday with games kicking off at 1 p.m. ET and continuing into the evening. That’s right, there will also be some late afternoon games as well as a primetime game coming fans’ way on Christmas Eve night!

NFL Christmas Eve games 2022

  • Atlanta Falcons (5-9) vs Baltimore Ravens (9-5)
  • Detroit Lions (7-7) vs Carolina Panthers (5-9)
  • Buffalo Bills (11-3) vs Chicago Bears (3-11)
  • New Orleans Saints (5-9) vs Cleveland Browns (6-8)
  • Seattle Seahawks (7-7) vs Kansas City Chiefs (11-3)
  • New York Giants (8-5-1) vs Minnesota Vikings (11-3)
  • Cincinnati Bengals (10-4) vs New England Patriots (7-7)
  • Houston Texans (1-12-1) vs Tennesse Titans (7-7)
  • Washington Commanders (7-6-1) vs San Francisco 49ers (10-4)
  • Philadelphia Eagles (13-1) vs. Dallas Cowboys (10-4)
  • Las Vegas Raiders (6-8) vs. Pittsburgh Steelers (6-8)

There are a lot of exciting NFL Christmas Eve games coming on Saturday including a handful of divisional matches which could hold some major playoff implications.

One of the biggest games of the day will come in the late afternoon window as the Philadelphia Eagles (13-1) head to Dallas to face the Cowboys (10-4) in a battle for the NFC East. While the Eagles are currently sitting at the top of the division, they haven’t yet locked down the NFC East and a win for the Cowboys on Saturday could be enough to derail the team’s hopes of doing so.

Of course, the primetime game between the Raiders and Steelers is also likely to be a highlight of the week as both teams fight to keep their playoff hopes alive. The game is also set to celebrate the 50-year anniversary of the Immaculate Reception, a celebration that will be bittersweet following the passing of Franco Harris on Dec. 21.

Next. NFL teams who definitely won’t be in the playoffs (2022). dark
