New Disney+ shows and movies to stream this weekend (January 6)

2022 was an amazing year for Disney+ and its subscribers. There’s no telling what 2023 will hold for us, though.

While we got a preview of what’s coming this year, it’s always nice to know what you’re getting week by week. The platform seems to be constantly changing and evolving which is good.

Disney+ is one of those streaming services that will never go out of style. While there have been some frustrating decisions made, very few people don’t love Disney. It’s easier to find someone who does love it than someone who doesn’t.

If you’re looking for some new releases to start off 2023 with, then these Disney+ releases are worth a shot.

These Disney+ releases are from December 31st until January 6th, 2023.

A new year can sometimes mean a fresh start and Disney is making sure all of us have plenty of choices when it comes to finding something to watch so let’s break it down.

• Magic of Disney’s Animal Kingdom season 2 (Jan. 4)
• National Treasure: Edge of History episode 5 (Jan. 4)

• Star Wars: The Bad Batch season 2, 2-Episode Premiere (Jan. 4)
• The Boonies season 1 (Jan. 4)
• Underworld, Inc seasons 1 and 2 (Jan. 4)
• Willow episode 7 (Jan. 4)
• Strangest Bird Alive (Jan. 6)

As you can see, Disney is keeping things consistent when it comes to these weekly releases with lots of TV shows and projects that are under the Disney umbrella but are from other networks. It’s nice to see such a variety as the same things over and over again can be tiring plus it’s a new year.

Now is the time to try out something new or make a change. While watching something new on Disney+ might seem like a small change, it’s something to try that won’t be a massive change but might help you find a new favorite.
