Gordon Ramsay seemingly announces his wife is pregnant (but backtracks)

Was it a prank or an accidental reveal? That’s what Gordon Ramsay‘s fans are trying to figure out after he teased that his wife Tana is pregnant with their sixth child. As the famous chef’s followers know, the pair are the parents to Tilly, Holly, Megan, Oscar, and Jack, with the youngest, Oscar, being three years old. The two TV stars have been married since 1996 and are a fan-favorite celebrity couple for many.

As reported by Metro, the Kitchen Nightmares star appeared on the Heart Breakfast show with Jamie Theakston and Amanda Holden on Tuesday morning, where he dropped a major reveal, only to take it back. While speaking with the co-hosts, Ramsay kept up a ruse for a little bit, teasing that Tana might be pregnant and then confirming he does not want another child, though his wife does.

The conversation of kids started when Ramsay was asked about his children, with Theakston double-checking that he has five of them. The hilarious TV star then quipped: “Last time I looked there was five, yes. I think there’s one more on the way.” Expectedly, Holden was shocked and asked if Ramsay was being serious.

“Tana’s jeans aren’t fitting her,” Ramsay added before later explaining:

"“Tana would like another baby and I’m like ‘no, no, no, no.’ It’s already hard enough thinking about when I go to take Oscar to school [and people say] ‘Hey, what’s your grandad’s name?’”"

As mentioned earlier, Tana and Gordon Ramsay have been happily married for over two decades now, with the celeb pairing celebrating their 23rd anniversary just last month. The chef took to social media to share a tribute to his wonderful wife, as reported by People Magazine, posting a photo from their wedding in the late ’90s. Fans of the couple were quick to comment, with many wishing them a happy anniversary.
