The adult animated mystery-comedy that follows Velma Dinkley, the character from the Scooby-Doo franchise. The HBO Max series was developed by Charlie Grandy, with Mindy Kaling acting as an executive producer. Kaling is also the voice of Velma. In the animated series, audiences will meet Velma Dinkley before her days with the Mystery Inc.
What time is Velma coming out on HBO Max?
The highly anticipated animated series will drop on HBO Max on Thursday, Jan. 12, right at 3:01 a.m. ET. The question is — will you be staying up late to watch it or catch it later on in the day? Just don’t wait too long, or you may bump into spoilers online, and that’s no way to start a new show.

How many episodes of Velma are in season 1?
Season 1 will consist of 10 episodes, and two will be dropping each week on Thursdays. This means that two episodes are available to stream on Jan. 12, the series premiere, “Velma,” and episode 2, “The Candy (Wo)man.”
