The Drop cast: Who’s in the new Hulu comedy movie?

Hulu‘s new comedy film, The Drop, is now streaming on the platform! The movie stars Anna Konkle and Jermaine Fowler. Who else rounds out the cast?

The movie follows young husband and wife Lex (Konkle) and Mani (Fowler). The happily married couple is ready to start a family, per the synopsis. And what better time to do it than on a tropical island resort while Lex is ovulating?

As the two are there for a friend’s wedding, Lex accidentally drops her friend’s baby in front of everyone. The incident raises tensions between the couple, friends, and throws Lex and Mani’s future “into deep uncertainty.”

Who stars in The Drop on Hulu?

The lead actress in Anna Konkle who plays Lex. You may recognize the star from Fox’s police procedural, Rosewood, as well as Hulu comedy series, PEN15. Jermaine Fowler stars opposite the actress. Most recently, he’s known for playing Lavelle Junson in Coming 2 America and Franco Wicks on CBS sitcom, Superior Donuts. Fowler takes on the role of Mani in The Drop.

Sarah Adina Smith took charge behind the scenes as director, as well as co-writing the script with Leonard. Smith also produced the film alongside the actor,  Jonako Donley, Mel Eslyn, Shuli Harel, Tim Headington and Lia Buman. Mark Duplass and Jay Duplass took on EP duties.
