A dating series is about to join the booming world of reality TV via Paramount+! We’re talking about Are You The One?and if it sounds familiar to you, that’s because this is MTV’s popular reality dating show! Has the concept changed or are we about to go on a nostalgic ride? Or perhaps you’re not even familiar with the original MTV series? Whatever the case may be, we’re here to help!

Are You The One? is coming back to help singles find love (or will it be cash?). The last season, season 8, finished its run on September 2019, so it’s been over three years since the hit reality series has been on our screens. While there have been a few changes, the concept is the same, more or less.

Can you watch Are You The One? on MTV?

One of the biggest changes is where the dating show will air. Are you The One? is moving from MTV to the Paramount+ streaming platform. So, to watch, you’ll need access to Paramount+. If you don’t already have a subscription, we strongly suggest you sign up for a free trial. You’ll be able to check out the return of the popular series, as well as get to know the service and everything it has to offer before you commit.

What is Are You The One? about?

The concept is pretty much the same as the first eight seasons. So, what is it about? The producers and professional matchmakers have used an algorithm to put together 11 perfect matches. The catch? It’s up to the cast to figure out who their match is. The successful couple will win up to $1 million.

Who is hosting Are You The One? on Paramount+?

Another change is the host. Terrence J. hosted the first seasons, but now Kamie Crawford is taking the lead. Crawford is best known as the co-host of the highly popular series Catfish, along with Nev Schulman.

Paramount+ will be dropping one episode each week on Wednesdays. There will be a total of 10 episodes.
