Last week, the Jacksonville Jaguars managed to pull off a stunning comeback win over the Los Angeles Chargers.

Down 27-0 in the second quarter, the Jaguars managed to turn things around in order to get the upset over the Chargers 31-30. After staging the third biggest comeback in NFL history, the Jaguars enter the divisional round of the playoffs as the biggest underdog in the AFC as they prepare to face off against the No. 1 seeded Kansas City Chiefs.

If the Jaguars hope to pull off the win, they’re going to need all of their biggest weapons on the field including their star starting quarterback Trevor Lawrence… but will Lawrence be cleared to play against the Chiefs?

Trevor Lawrence injury update (January 21, 2023)

For the second consecutive week, Trevor Lawrence was a limited participant during Jaguars’ practices for the week with Lawrence sitting out both the Tuesday and Wednesday practices. Heading into the game he once again appeared on the Jaguars’ injury report for the toe injury he sustained back in Week 13.

Is Trevor Lawrence playing today?

While Trevor Lawrence was listed as questionable on the injury report. However, it is expected that Lawrence will be suiting up against the Chiefs today as the Jaguars’ starting quarterback. Lawrence’s status as the starting quarterback for the week was never truly in question as he was able to successfully play through the injury last week (and the last several weeks), but it should be welcome news to fans uncertain of his role in the game.
