Jennifer Lawrence and Brian Tyree Henry are an awesome duo that drives this film phenomenally, and it’s no wonder why their stunning performances helped the film secure an Academy Award nod. Henry is currently nominated for Best Supporting Actor, and though he’s up against many other legendary actors with legendary performances, it’s an honor that this first-time nominee is finally getting the global recognition he definitely deserves.

What is Causeway about?

Causeway follows a U. S. veteran’s journey back into society after being prematurely discharged from her duty due to her serious injury. Though she’s surrounded by life and freedom, she can’t help but feel burdened by her desire to return to duty. But when she meets someone who can relate to her experience, she slowly realizes what’s truly important to her.

Jennifer Lawrence plays Lynsey, the struggling U. S. soldier, while Henry plays James, the mechanic Lynsey befriends. In addition to Lawrence and Henry, the cast of Causeway includes:
