What is the song in the Daisy Jones and The Six trailer?
By Sabrina Reed
Daisy Jones and The Six, the highly anticipated Prime Video series based on the book of the same name by Taylor Jenkins Reid, premieres March 3. We finally have a teaser trailer for the show, giving prospective viewers (and book fans) more than a glimpse at what to expect.
For those who don’t know, Daisy Jones and The Six tells the story of rock’s most legendary fictional band who seemed to have the world at their fingertips in the ’70s before they abruptly disbanded at the height of their career.
The band’s two lead singers, Daisy Jones and Billy Dunne, were a force to be reckoned with and their songwriting skills were unmatched. Daisy, however, was a drug addict and Billy was a recovering one trying to stay on the straight and narrow for his wife, Camila, and their family.
The more time he and Daisy spent together, the more their volatile nature and combativeness seemed to cool into something that threatened to change their lives. For the better or for the worse is up to interpretation, but it’s made for one of the greatest music stories left untold until the band sits down for a tell-all decades later.
The show’s teaser trailer features a grooving, rock n’ roll track. What song is playing? Here’s what we know!

Listen to the full song here:
[Verse 1]
You regret me and I regret you
Except I don’t care what you feel and I don’t need your [?]
I’m a slippage in the system with a natural gift, how I move
So go ahead and regret me but I’m beating you to it, dude
[Chorus]
(Ah) You regret me and I regret you
You couldn’t handle your liquor and you can’t seem to handle the truth
I’m a slippage in the system and I’m perfectly ready to strike
So go ahead and regret me but I’m not easing up on this mic
[Verse 2]
Seven fallen angels in atonemеnt
Meet me in the part of the kеys
Meet me in the corner where you keep me
I’ll do anything you please
I’ll do anything you please
[Chorus]
You regret me and I regret you
I find it perfectly natural [?]
Off the PCH highway with the typical wonderful view
Go ahead and regret me but I’m beating you to it, dude
[Outro]
Go ahead and regret me but I always will too regret you
Go ahead and regret me but I always will too regret you
Go ahead and regret me but I always will too regret you
