The Powerball is a popular lottery game in the United States that many people across the country are avid players in. Every Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday night, millions of people tune in to watch the winning numbers be drawn live. Purchasing a Powerball ticket is an exciting experience, as you wait to see if your numbers match the right ones. It’s thrilling to think about the possibilities of what you could do with the money if you won.

And sometimes, people walk away with massive amounts. Take the November 2022 winner of the Powerball, for example. The lucky person living in California reached $2.04 billion in winnings, though understandably their identity hasn’t been made known to the public. According to a recent report from People Magazine, however, the winner hasn’t actually collected the money yet! We wonder why.

Now that we’re onto a new pool with millions across the country eligible to win, let’s get into the numbers for Wednesday, January 25 and whether or not anyone got lucky.

As reported this morning by Indy Star, the numbers drawn on live TV last night, January 25, were as follows: 9, 17, 20, 38, 40. The Powerball number was 18 and the Power Play was at 2x.

Unfortunately, no one had the numbers, meaning the Powerball pot is still growing!
