Hulu dropped a new comedy on Jan. 25, 2023 worth checking out! Have you heard of the British binge-watch series, Extraordinary? If you don’t know what it’s about, and who stars in it, then don’t you worry. We’ve got your back!

We’re introduced to the main character Jen, a “painfully self-aware” 25-year-old who is the only one who hasn’t gotten her superpower yet, per the Hulu synopsis. Everyone else got theirs 10 years ago if they were over 18 years old.

The young adult is desperately waiting for hers, while dealing with the everyday challenges life throws. But she may learn to be able to get through the “big, confusing world” with some hope, desperation, and her roommates. Plus, Jen could possibly find her maybe-superpower.

Actress Máiréad Tyers stars as Jen. The star is still pretty fresh as this is one of her first acting roles and her first major role, including as a lead. She’s previously appeared in the 2021 film, Belfast. Check out the full cast list below:

If you end up watching and liking the eight-episode first season and want more, then you’re in luck! Ahead of the comedy’s premiere, Hulu already renewed the series for a second season, Deadline reports.
