Comedic duo Matt Lucas and David Walliams won over many hearts across the UK with their radio and TV show, Little Britain. The hilarious sketch comedy ran for several years in the early 2000s on the BBC, and the two celebs have since reunited many times for charity performances. In case you missed it, Lucas and Walliams actually stopped being friends for some time, with The Sun reporting that they had a falling out in 2011. Lucas deluged some of the details of their feud in his autobiography Little Me: My Life from A-Z, and fans were disappointed to learn what went down.

Fortunately, as fans of the two know, they reunited in 2019 for a project and have been on good terms again ever since. Now, just to prove they’re still great friends, they are teaming up once more and making a new show!

According to the Mirror, the 48-year-old Bridesmaids actor appeared on The Zoe Ball Breakfast Show and revealed he’s working with Walliams again. And he seems super excited about what they’ve been planning so far. According to Lucas, he and his close friend are quitting their current gigs and dedicating all of their time to this new project, which has yet to be named.

“We’ve got an idea for a new show and we need a few more brainstorming sessions, but we know what we want the show to be, what the concept of it is,” Lucas shared. “We’re really excited about it and it will be a show with us playing lots of characters. But we have to write the treatment for it and then we have to go and pitch it and see if anyone wants to make it! But if somebody wants to make it, we’ll be thrilled to do it.”

It sounds like it’ll likely be another sketch show since Lucas revealed they’d be playing multiple characters. Keep up with us at Hidden Remote as we learn more about this interesting project!
