Teen Wolf: The Movie: Who is Eli Hale’s mother?

Teen Wolf: The Movie answered oh-so-many questions we’ve always had for a long time.
From what happened to Chris Argent ever since his daughter and wife passed to what Jackson Whittemore has been up to after all these years. With this 2023 title, we got a pretty great rundown on the events that transpired since we’ve last seen our favorite characters. Even so, we still do have a few questions. Specifically, why Derek Hale, the father of Eli Hale, is a single dad?
Did Eli somehow spawn from a supernatural mystery? Or was there someone from Derek’s past who came back to rekindle the romance, and thus, created the young boy before us now? Here’s what to know!
Does Eli Hale have a mother?
Unfortunately, Teen Wolf: The Movie didn’t exactly touch upon the subject of Eli Hale’s mother. We assume it’s because the topic of the young wolf’s lineage isn’t as crucial to the plot of the title as other details. But then again, we have an inkling that creator Jeff Davis may have something up his sleeve much later in the future.
Until then, here are a few people we think may be the mother of Eli Hale.
Is Kate Argent the mother of Eli Hale?
Derek Hale and Allison Argent’s aunt, Kate, did have a very steamy relationship in the past. And while she was a little unhinged, she was devoted to Derek for quite some time. Still, Derek reuniting with Kate to not only have a relationship with her but to then have a kid with her is pretty unlikely since Kate’s current status is unknown and has been prior to the 2023 release.
Is Jennifer Blake the mother of Eli Hale?
Again, while a cute relationship at the time, Derek and Jennifer Blake’s romance couldn’t have brought about the birth of Eli, especially since she’s deceased.
Is Braeden the mother of Eli Hale?
Out of all the options, Braeden, being the mother of Eli, is the most likely option, as he and the mercenary were in a very committed relationship. Of course, we don’t know if the relationship ever progressed to the point of the two wanting a family, but for now, it’s nice to think that Derek and Braeden were endgame.
Perhaps we’ll learn more about Derek Hale’s relationship in the future and how Eli came into his life. Perhaps not. Either way, we’re happy that his lineage continued in some fashion, and are even more glad that Eli’s just like his amazing father.
