Get ready for comedy, romance, and action if you decide to tune in to the Jennifer Lopez and Josh Duhamel-led movie, Shotgun Wedding on Prime Video! The film is now streaming. And it really does look like a fun adventure! What is it all about?

The triple threat plays Darcy, while the All My Children actor takes on the role of Tom. Comedic actress and The White Lotus star Jennifer Coolidge will play Duhamel’s onscreen mother, Carol (despite the lack of a big age difference between the actors!).

Also taking part in the story are actors Sonia Braga, Cheech Marin, Selena Tan, D’Arcy Carden, Callie Hernandez, Desmin Borges, Steve Coulter as Larry, and Lenny Kravitz as Sean. Jason Moore directed, Mark Hammer wrote the script, and the film is executive produced by Lopez, Tod Lieberman, David Hoberman, among others.

What is the movie Shotgun Wedding on Prime Video about?

Shotgun Wedding brings us right to the destination wedding of Darcy (Lopez) and Tom (Duhamel). The couple faces a few hiccups, including cold feet, their lovable, but opinionated families gathered to celebrate their big day, and the biggest obstacle of all – a surprise RSVP, per the synopsis. When the whole wedding party is taken hostage, the two lovebirds need to try and avoid killing each other first to save all their loved ones. Will they be able to do it?

The trailer reveals the way the couple tries to work together on their adventurous mission, glimpses into some of Coolidge’s funny moments, and perhaps the Darcy and Tom will be able to work together after all. Check out the video below:
