6 new Netflix movies and shows to watch this week (Jan. 30)

Is anyone else still trying to finish binging Lockwood & Co.? I know I am, and I can’t wait to finish it. Of course, Netflix is throwing some more content our way to get in the way of that binge. Like we do each and every week, we’re sharing all the new Netflix movies and shows debuting beginning the week of Jan. 30, 2022.

We are all awaiting the return of Joe Goldberg, or shall I say, Professor Jonathan Moore, who is set to return to our TVs next week! I am still slightly upset the series is being split up into two parts, but nonetheless, I will be seated for Joe and any new fun stories that are coming our way.

Here’s what’s coming this week.

• Pamela, a love story, Jan. 31
• Gunther’s Milloins, Feb. 1

• Freeridge, Feb. 2
• True Spirit, Feb 3.

I don’t want to be much of a debby-downer, but this might be one of the lighter and weaker slates Netflix has put out in a little while. Sure, we are getting some new content, but nothing truly stands out like they typically have on a weekly basis.

That said, the title I am looking forward to the most to check out is Pamela, a love story. Pamela Anderson was one of my first crushes as a little kid, and as I’ve gotten older, I realized how much she went through within the spotlight she has had. I look forward to seeing this raw, personal side and hearing how she has overcome the things she has had to in order to become a massive star and everything in between.
