Apple TV+ is highlighting some of its best content and accomplishments with a very smart approach! Why not bring some of the biggest celebrities and make a commercial with them, but portray the ad in an engaging way!?

Ads and commercials are just a part of the lives of movie and television fans. Sometimes they can get on our nerves. Other times, companies can actually grab our attention in a thoughtful way. And that’s what happened with the streamer‘s latest campaign!

Who is the actor in the new Apple TV+ commercial?

Apple TV+’s latest commercial features none other than actor Timothée Chalamet! The highly-popular 27-year-old star first rose to attention for his role as Elio Perlman in Call Me by Your Name.

He’s also appeared in films like Beautiful Boy, Little Women, Dune, and Don’t Look Up. If you’re a fan of the actor, then you can look forward to his upcoming movies Dune: Part Two, as he stars alongside Zendaya, as well as Warner Bros. Pictures production Wonka.

What is the Apple TV+ commercial starring Timothée Chalamet?

In a hilarious and endearing commercial, titled “Call Me With Timothée Chalamet.” the Apple TV+ video shows Chalamet scrolling through some of the streaming service’s most popular productions. The actor starts to rethink his choices and reflects on why he hasn’t done a project with the streamer yet. By the end of the commercial, he has a plea – “Hey Apple. Call me?”

Some of the films and shows featured in the video are CODA, Ted Lasso, and Black Bird, as well as actors who got a shout-out: Jennifer Lawrence, Selena Gomez, and Leonardo DiCaprio. His Dune co-star, Jason Momoa, also pops up as he FaceTimes Chalamet, pluggin his upcoming Apple TV+ series Chief of War.

In January 2022, Apple TV+ did a similar campaign video with actor Jon Hamm called “Everyone but Jon Hamm.” The star is set to join The Morning Show season 3 alongside Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon. So does this mean Chalamet has an upcoming project in the works with the streamer that we don’t know about yet? It’s very possible! This is a fun way to promote the potential news and get people talking. We sure hope this is the case!
