The Last of Us TV series adapted Bill and Frank’s story in a beautiful way during Episode 3. Who played the role of Frank in the HBO series?
Sometimes, adapting and building on a storyline from the source material is a good thing. That’s what happened with Bill and Frank’s storyline in The Last of Us TV series. We got to see more of their relationship together, and when Bill got ill, we saw their devotion to one another. There’s also the element of hope as we see how the two of them inspire Joel to continue his journey to get Ellie across country.
Fans of the series will want to know more about the actors in the role. Frank is played by Murray Bartlett, and here’s a look at other shows and movies you can see him in.
Who is Murray Bartlett from The Last of Us
Murray is an Australian actor, who had his first TV role back in 1987. He was in one episode of The Flying Doctors, and would then go onto the Australian soap opera Home and Away in 1992 for 13 episodes.
He has had a series of small roles since then in both TV shows and TV movies. That was until he landed the role of Cyrus Foley in Guiding Light. He was in 257 episodes between 2007 and 2009.
In the most recent years, you can see him in the likes of The Good Wife, Limitless, Iron Fist, and Nashville. He even played the Australian Prime Minister in an episode of Madam Secretary.
Still trying to place him? How about The White Lotus? Yes, he was in the very first season of the anthology series. He played Armond, who ended up dying in some of the most peculiar circumstances. You can also see him in Welcome to Chippendales right now on Hulu. This is a man to keep an eye on.
