John Wick 4 is not coming to theaters in February 2023

Eyes are on when will see Keanu Reeves back in the role of John Wick. The wait for John Wick 4 is almost over, but it’s not coming in February.

The ending of the third movie made it very clear that we would need another installment. The movie franchise all started with John Wick getting revenge for the death of his dog, and now it’s become one about John Wick trying to keep himself alive. Everyone is turning on him as a bounty is put on his head.

While we know the fourth installment is coming this year, it’s not coming this month. We still have a little longer to wait to see what John will do and whether there is anyone he can turn to.

When will John Wick 4 come to theaters?

Just how long do we need to wait? There isn’t too much longer. The theatrical release date is set for March 24, 2023.

It has been a huge delay from the May 2021 release date that was initially set. Lionsgate pushed the movie back for two reasons: the pandemic and Keanu Reeves being committed to the Matrix revival movie at the time.

This is likely the final movie in the franchise as John Wick looks for a way to take down the High Table for good. It is the only way he can earn his freedom, but it means putting his life on the line to get it. He’ll need to figure out who he can trust out of his old friends. Is there anyone not out for his blood?

Ian McShane and Lance Reddick will return to the movie. We’ll also see Donnie Yen, Bill Skarsgård, Laurence Fishburne, Clancy Brown, and Rina Sawayama in the new movie.

John Wick 4 is in theaters on March 24, 2023.
