February 3 weekend movies: Every new movie in theaters and streaming this weekend
By Ricky Valero
Happy month of love for those who celebrate that sort of thing. Below, we share the best new weekend movies to watch in theaters and available on streaming services that you won’t want to miss.
The month of February is starting with a bang with two brand new movies hitting theaters that couldn’t be more opposite. With a group of ladies obsessed with Tom Brady and a brand new horror movie by M. Night Shyamalan. I’ll be honest, it might make a perfect double feature.
Weekend movies to watch (and stream) today
- 80 For Brady, Theaters
- Knock At The Cabin, Theaters
- Rowdy, Prime Video
- True Spirit, Netflix
You can consider this my review of 80 For Brady, folks. I saw the movie in a packed crowd of older people that ate the film up. I mean to the point where they lined up outside by the poster to take pictures with the poster. I was floored that on a 2 PM that the screening was damn near sold out. I loved it, and the crowd loved it, and it had so much heart that I couldn’t believe I cried. It’s just a fantastic little film that I had no clue was based on a true story until after it was over. I am not just saying this for my love of Tom Brady, even though he was great. The cast was great and funny enough, and so was Gronkowski.
M. Night Shyamalan has been providing some of the wildest twists and turns in movies for quite a while now. Now, some work and some don’t, but you always have to applaud his creativity. His latest film is Knock At The Cabin, which follows a family taken hostage by four strangers while on vacation. Let’s be honest, it sounds way too simple for it to be an M. Night movie, but where it gets wild is that the family has to make a choice to avert an apocalypse. I am really excited to see how this one plays out and see Dave Bautista continue to flourish in the film space.
