Is Will Trent new tonight on ABC? (Feb. 7, 2023)

When we last left off with Will Trent in episode 5, “The Look Out,” Will and Angie were having growing pains. He’d accused his on-and-off again love of finding yet another excuse for why they can’t work as a couple. This time it was a dispute over Betty’s whereabouts. Turns out the pup was safely in the home, but Angie thought she’d run out the door she’d left open.

Understandably, this upset Will but their fight escalated in a way he’s far too familiar with. The two managed to reconcile after Angie admitted she ran from him when she’d promised she’d work on staying. They’re each stepping out of their comfort zone in this relationship and frankly at their jobs, too. Still, they keep choosing each other even when they do find themselves attracted to other people.

The cases of the week involved a football player whose wife was shot when she tried to stop a robbery and a real estate agent who’d died in a property. As Will and Faith discovered, the football player been running a scam because he needed funds but the situation got out of hand thanks to his manager’s meddling and murderous intent. Angie and Ormewood’s case unearthed a lead to a human trafficking ring that Angie’s been working to apprehend for some time.

Can viewers anticipate a new case for the duos to solve as they learn more about each other and grow as partners? Here’s what we know!
