Liaison on Apple TV+ release date, cast, trailer, and more

Ready for a thrilling new series? That’s what we’re getting soon on Apple TV+. Gear up for Liaison, created and written by Virginie Brac.

The contemporary thriller is directed by Emmy Award winner Stephen Hopkins, with Gub Neal, Jean-Benoît Gillig, Sarada McDermott, Justin Thomson, and Edward Barlow serving as executive producers. Actor Vincent Cassel, who stars in the show, also takes on EP duties.

Here’s everything we know ahead of its release!

Liaison release date

The series is set to premiere Friday, Feb. 24, 2023 on Apple TV+. There will be a total of six episodes. One will be released on premiere day. Then going forward, one new episode will stream weekly on Fridays until the finale on March 31, 2023.

Liaison synopsis

The show is a “high-stakes” thriller that is centered around Gabriel (Cassel) and Alison, two agents who used to be lovers, per Apple TV+. When the United Kingdom is threatened with international cyberattacks, the two will have to work together to stop them, as well as shed light on “buried secrets of their destructive relationship.”

Liaison cast

Vincent Cassel takes on the co-leading role of Gabriel Delage, with Eva Green starring as Alison Rowdy. The French actor is known for his roles in the films Ocean’s Twelve, Ocean’s Thirteen, and Black Swan, as well as HBO series, Westworld.

You may have seen Green in the  James Bond film Casino Royale as Vesper Lynd, the Tim Burton-directed movie Dark Shadows, and 2019 production Dumbo. The French actress has also taken on television roles including Morgan Pendragon on Camelot and Vanessa Ives on Penny Dreadful.
