When it was announced Rihanna would be headlining this year’s Super Bowl Halftime Show back in September 2022 (check out the Instagram post announcing the news!), so many of us were, and still are, giddy with excitement! We’ve been waiting for over five years to see the artist perform, and hear new music from her!
While it’s still not been confirmed that Rihanna will even give us a new song at the game, we’re hopeful it’s going to happen. Fingers crossed! While the Barbadian performer is of course an exciting addition to the Super Bowl LVII, we can’t forget about the football teams going head-to-head! This year, you’ll either be cheering for the Kansas City Chiefs or the Philadelphia Eagles.
So what time should you set your alarm so you don’t miss Rihanna’s performance? We’ve got the answer for you below!
What time is the Super Bowl Halftime Show? (2023)
Before we get to what time the Halftime Show is, you’ll need to know when the Super Bowl starts. You’ll need to tune in to FOX at 6:30 p.m. ET on Sunday, Feb. 12, 2023. The game can also be streamed using Hulu+ Live TV, fuboTV, and Sling TV.
Alright, so what about the Halftime Show? Since each football game is unique and different when it comes to timing, due to overtime and other factors, halftime doesn’t start at a fixed time. The game usually runs for about three hours and 12 minutes. So the halfway point and when to expect Rihanna’s performance will be at around 8 p.m. or 8:30 p.m. ET. Performers usually have around 15 minutes on the stage, before the athletics start up once again.
