911: Lone Star season 3 has been off to an interesting start for Tarlos fans, and not exactly interesting in a good way. The first few episodes of the season have thrown many unexpected curveballs at the couple beginning with the shocking revelation that Carlos can’t marry T.K. right away because he’s already married to a childhood friend.
As it turns out Carlos married his high school best friend Iris meaning he needs her to sign their divorce papers before he and T.K. can legally get married. The hold-up is that Iris has a history of mental illness and Carlos doesn’t want to jeopardize her progress by rushing into forcing her to sign the papers.
Fast forward to episode 3 and Iris goes missing which sends Carlos into a tailspin as he fears the worst. Fortunately, they’re able to bring her home safely but her story of the events that transpired are called into question when the evidence doesn’t seem to match up with the facts. According to Iris, a man was holding her captive but drone footage did not show anyone leaving the building.
Eager to get to the bottom of things, Carlo returns to the house where Iris was kept determined to get answers. Upon examining the house where Iris had been kept, he finds a tunnel that leads him to a neighboring house. He begins to search the house upon entering it via the tunnel when he is knocked out by a shovel to the head.

It was definitely stressful to see Carlos put in yet another life-or-death predicament, but we have to confess we were optimistic he’d make it out alive as there had been no hints of actor Rafael Silva leaving the show. Additionally, it would have been unlike the writers to kill off a character who is such a central part of the show and its current storylines.
