Next Level Chef season 2 kicked off on Super Bowl Sunday after the Kansas City Chiefs won a close game that left us hanging off the edge of our seats. There was no rest on Feb. 12 because viewers who tuned into the biggest game of the year had jumped from one frying pan to another late in the night with this high intensity cooking competition.
The FOX series is a high stakes culinary fare with chefs of varying degrees of experience competing to win the $250,000 grand prize and a coveted year long internship with Gordon Ramsay, Nyesha Arrington, and Richard Blais, who serve as judges and team mentors.
Handpicked by each of these icons in the food industry, the 18 chefs a part of the competition are not only cooking to showcase their skills but also to impress the judges and prove their talent is unmatched regardless of whether they’ve got to whip something up in the best of conditions or the worst.
The season has only just begun–and will move to airing at Thursdays at 8 p.m. ET on FOX starting Feb. 16–but we know you’re wondering how long you’ll have with Next Level Chef before a winner is determined. Here’s what we know!
Next Level Chef season 2 episode count
Season 2 has a total of 15 episodes. As such, fans can anticipate being along for this ride into May. We’ll keep you posted on a finale date as we move closer to the season’s end. It’ll likely fall toward the end of May just as other network shows are reaching their season conclusions as well.
