The Hills star Audrina Patridge is in mourning this week after she announced her niece Sadie Raine Loza passed away just days after her 15th birthday. The 37-year-old reality star took to Instagram to share a tribute to Sadie.
Patridge shared a 10-slide post dedicated to her niece, which includes photos of Sadie, one of them dancing at Patridge’s wedding, and a video of them and another family member. The MTV star noted in her caption that her “heart hurts to even write this,” continuing with:
"My beautiful niece is now in heaven. I know Its not goodbye forever, but it is the hardest to say goodbye for now. We will miss you and cherish every single moment we had with you. Rest in peace Say Say!! We love you forever & ever!"

Friends and fans of the reality star flooded her comments section with sympathies, with Brody Jenner writing: “So so sorry for your loss Audrina. This is heartbreaking. Sending love to you and the family.” At the time of this writing, Sadie’s cause of death has not been reported.
Patridge first rose to fame as a friend of Lauren Conrad and Heidi Montag’s on The Hills, which originally ran from 2006 to 2010 before returning for various spinoffs. Patridge even had her own show, simply titled Audrina, which aired on VH1 for one season before getting canceled. The celeb got married in 2016 to an Australian actor named Corey Bohan, and the two share one child together, a daughter named Kirra Max Bohan. Unfortunately, Patridge and Bohan divorced in 2018.
Fans got to catch up with Patridge and many of the other original stars of The Hills with The Hills: New Beginnings, which had two seasons from 2019 to 2021. Other famous cast members on the spinoff included actress Mischa Barton from The O.C. and Pamela Anderson and Tommy Lee’s son Brandon Thomas Lee. Though the series was canceled last year, those who tuned in did find it a fun way to see what the reality stars had been up to in recent years.
We’ll be curious to see what Patridge does next in her career, but right now we’re sending her and her family love in this incredibly difficult time.
