It’s Friday, and that means a night of CBS dramas, right? What’s going on with the schedule tonight? Is a new episode of Fire Country going to air?
We are ready for a night of Friday dramas on CBS. That includes the new firefighter drama Fire Country. There is some bad news, though.
There isn’t going to be a new episode of the series on tonight. The good news is there’s a rerun on at the usual time, though. It’s a chance to go back to the episode titled “Happy to Help,” which saw Bode’s crew accused of stealing a designer watch during a call.
When will new episodes of Fire Country return?
As we reported earlier this week, there isn’t going to be a new episode of the series now until March. The first new episode will air on Friday, March 2. This is a long wait, but the new episode will be here before you know it.
There are no details of what to expect just yet. We’ll likely get a promo next Friday as CBS tends to release promos a week before the new episodes during the breaks.
What’s with the break, though? This is all likely linked to scheduling of episodes. CBS needs to make sure there will be enough episodes to run in May, when the finales air. There are 22 episodes to the season, but there aren’t enough weeks left to run episodes back to back and make it to May. Plus, episodes are still filming for another couple of months so the show will end up catching up to the episodes available. CBS can’t have that happen.
Fire Country will return with new episodes on Friday, March 2 at 9/8c on CBS. Catch up on Paramount+.
